About

EdgeDetect app analysing and processing big amounts of historical OHLC data from stock markets and provides various reports for traders that help them with their trading strategy.

Our team constructed the whole project, which includes branding, design and development of the landing page, as well as design and development of the app. We used Node.js, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis for the backend and React + Next.js for the frontend app, with Stripe as the payment provider.

Branding

The main design challenge was to create a standout design while keeping the intuitive user experience. An appealing look serves as an advantage, considering that most competitors have quite bland UI.

Website

The website is built on the Framer platform and uses the same branding as the main app. It shows key features of the product and navigates users to the app.

The App

The app concept was built with a basic component style guide of buttons, typography, colors, and layout.

Ticker Stats

This page shows insights and reports for a single ticker/stock. The noteworthy feature here is TradingView Graph integration that shows data processed and provided by the backend.

Billing

We are using Stripe as a payment provider with a subscription-based payment model. Users are able to get a 3-day trial, as well as provide card details to subscribe to the plan.

Design System

A UX/UI design system brings consistency, efficiency, and user-centred design to digital products. It streamlines development, reduces design inconsistencies, and creates a seamless and effective user experience across platforms.
